On behalf of Local 410, each Unit donated $200 to their area Food Banks for Christmas. The Food Banks that received donations are below:
*Bridges to Hope-St. John's/Mt. Pearl-Lisa Leaman (Adele Jackman on behalf)
*Labrador Friendship Center Food Bank-Redge Flynn
*Salvation Army Food Bank Gander-Jim Shea
*Stephenville Emergency Food Services-Darren Wight
*Corner Brook Food Bank-Michael Durnford
*Grand Falls-Windsor, Bishop Falls Community Food Bank-Brian Hedges
*Salvation Army Food Bank-Clarenville
Also, Susan Rice delivered a donation of groceries to the Single Parents Association on behalf of Local 410 and Adele Jackman delivered donation cheques to the Community Food Sharing Association and the Iris Kirby House on behalf of the Unifor Social Justice Fund and the Atlantic Regional Council.
Thanks to all for taking the time to deliver donations to these non-profit organizations, there were a lot of happy people and full bellies this Christmas! 🥰
